Built by What She Speaks
Godly Women Build w/Faith-filled Influence — what you place in God's hands, He multiplies into something that outlives you.
This Week’s Sermon
This Mother's Day, we're so glad you're here — some of the most important builders in the Kingdom are sitting in this room right now.
There's something in Proverbs I can't stop thinking about. "The wise woman builds her house — but with her own hands the foolish one tears it down." What you speak matters. The words we release into our homes — over our kids, our circumstances, our marriages — they're building something or tearing something down. There is no neutral ground.
The enemy doesn't know your thoughts — but the moment you start speaking your fears aloud, you've handed him ammunition. "I'm overwhelmed." "I can't do this." "My kids are the death of me." That becomes the atmosphere. But when you shift to speaking God's truth, His promises — everything changes. The culture of your home shifts. The foundation you're building strengthens.
I want every woman reading this to hear something: you're building something that will outlive you. Not when you have it all figured out — but in the daily moments. When you speak identity over your kids. When you choose God's Word over fear. When you keep showing up. That's what a wise woman does. She builds by what she speaks.
Proverbs 14:1 -The wise woman builds her house through her words and leadership
Joshua 24:15 - A daily decision to build your house on the Lord
2 Corinthians 12:9 -God's empowering grace is sufficient in every weakness
2 Timothy 1:7 - God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love
Joshua 1:9 - Be strong and courageous; God is always with you

Key Takeaways
In this week’s message…
Your words are building something in your home — every single day.
Speak God's truth when fear, exhaustion, and chaos are loud.
What you declare over your children deposits identity into their spirit.
Building your home is about faithfulness, not perfection.
Your kids are watching how you live, not just what you say.
Reflection
Here are the truths we carried home this week.
A wise woman doesn't have to be perfect — she has to be faithful. "You're not disqualified by those moments of imperfect parenting, because His grace is right there in the middle of it." That truth is for every mom carrying guilt into this week.
The words we speak over our homes carry more weight than we realize. When you speak truth over your kids — when you declare what God says they are instead of what a hard moment reveals — you're doing more than parenting. You're exercising the Believer's authority. You're building something that will outlive you.
So here's what I want you to carry into your week: as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Not a slogan. A decision you make again today. That's how a wise woman builds.
A Prayer for This Week
Let Your risen life reshape my heart, my mind, and my steps today.
Lord, I want to be a builder — in my home, in my family, in the lives of the people You've placed around me. Help me watch what I speak. When fear is loud, help me choose truth. When exhaustion sets in, remind me that Your grace is sufficient. Where I've fallen short, I receive Your mercy — today is a new day. I surrender what I'm carrying into Your hands. Multiply it for Your glory.
Amen.

What Do I Do With What I Learned?
Your Invitation for This Week:
Relational:
Speak one specific truth this week over someone you love — name who God says they are, not what a hard moment revealed.
Spiritual:
Replace one fearful declaration you've been repeating with a specific promise from God's Word and say it out loud daily this week.
Practical:
Find what makes each person in your family light up and carve out intentional time for it — that connection builds the trust needed for deeper relationship.
Communal:
Reach out to a mother figure in your life and name one specific way they've built something lasting into you.
